Advice Lukman Al Hakim To Son

Praise be to Allah, sholawat and greetings may remain too affluent to our master Muhammad, Companions, their families and the people who are still ittiba ‘(follow) to him until doomsday.
Qur’an is the source of law and science that never dry for drawn, full of learning, in which there is wisdom and example. One of the main content of the Qur’an is the journey of the lives of the prophets and apostles and of righteous peoples before the prophet Muhammad. Lessons she told sirah humans were no other options because the benefits of exemplaryfaith, nature and their morality. So here I will lift Luqman Al-Hakim is a story filled with lessons for us all.
1. Not associating partners with Allah.
The greatest tyranny and munkar are associating Allah, as Allah:
“And (remember) when Luqman said to his son, at the time he gave lessons to him:” My son, do not associate (God) actually ascribe (Allah) is truly a great injustice. “(Surah Luqman: 13)
Allah will not forgive Shirk, unless he repent and leave actions. Verily, Allah alone is entitled to worshiped (Allahu mustahiqqul ‘ibaadah). He was the one who berhaq in turn to for help. Only to Him all matters submitted, fear (khouf), hope (raja ‘) is only feasible for God Almighty, not to others.
2. Do good to both parents.
The Word of God:
“And we are commanded to man (doing good) to his two mother-father, his mother had conceived him in a weakened state that increase steadily, and weaning in two years. Grateful to Me and to your fathers two mothers, only to the husbandman your return . “(Surah Luqman: 14)
In the history of Bukhari, the Prophet was once asked by a friend:
“Practices are loved by God? She replied: Prayer at the time, she asked again: Then What?, He replied: do good to parents,. He asked again: then what?, Belau replied: Jihad in the way of Allah” (Sahih Bukhari V/2227, hadith No.5625)
3. Obedience to parents should be guided by obedience to God, because it should not be obedient to them in order to commit adultery to God, the more partners with Allah (shirk). Allah says:
“And if they strive to associate with something that I have no knowledge about it, then do not follow them, and hanging them in the world with good” (Surah Luqman: 14).
4. Following the path of those who return to God
The Word of God:
“And follow the road back to Me, and then only to the husbandman return, then I proclaim to you what you did.” (Surah Luqman: 15)
Here Luqman gave an advice to his son that he follow in the footsteps of people who return to God that the prophets and apostles and those who believe and work righteous, who always repent to God, who has given God’s guidance, which remains in the religious hanif namely Islam.
5. Allah will reply to all human actions.
The Word of God:
“(Luqman said): “O my son, indeed if there is (a deed) weight of a mustard seed, and be in a rock or in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it (it forth). Surely Allah is Subtle, All-Aware.” (Qur’an: 16)
“So whoever is doing good ant weighing too, surely he would see (reply) it. And whosoever does evil ant weighing too, surely he would see (reply) it anyway”. (Surah al-Zalzalah: 7-8).
6. Enforcing prayer.
Prayer is the pillar of religion, so that he would not be established without a prayer. So as a believer we are obliged to enforce it. As Allah SWT says in Surah Luqman verse 17, which reads:
“My son, be steadfast in prayer …”
Prayer can prevent people from shameful and unjust deeds, as Allah:. ”And be steadfast in prayer. Indeed prayer restrains from (deeds) cruel and unjust.” (Surah Al ‘Ankabuut: 45)
7. Ma’ruf injunction nahi Munkar.
There are two important components in Islam that gives a strong boost to all Muslims to preach their religion, that is injunction doing good and avoiding unjust (commanded to do good and prevent the unjust). The command for doing good and avoiding areas unjust very much in the Qur’an such as:
“And let none of you class of people who call to virtue, sent to the ma` ruf and prevent the evil; they’re the lucky ones. “(Surah Al ‘Imran: 104).
8. Be patient with what happened to us.
Indeed, all the trials that befall a Muslim it is a thing that must happen because that exam form (ikhtibar) of Allah, whether he was impatient or not, the word of God:
“And be patient over what befalls you. Verily it includes things that are required (by Allah).” (Surah Luqman: 17)
9. Not Bragging
The nature arrogant or feel the nature of what man is hated by Allah:
“And do not turn your face away from men (for pride) nor walk in insolence through the earth. Surely Allah loves not the arrogant pride themselves again.”
10. Being mid-air in every respect and good manners
Islam does not want the attitude Ghuluw (exaggeration) also do not want to be tahawun (understatement) in all respects including in cases who, according to some people is considered small as the attitude of walking, talking etc.. God arranged it all as his word:
“And ye simple it is to walk and soften your voice. Indeed worst of the sound is the sound a donkey.”
Humans will have value if it showed good manners, because the purpose of the coming of the Prophet Muhammad in addition to calling for God (Ad-da’wah ilallah) is to improve morality and character.
